As well as producing and dj’ing, Bexxie is responsible for running Dysfunktional Audio. She has been involved in all aspects of the music business from producing music to managing a record shop and distribution company to running records labels.
Bexxie started out like most through dj’ing. She has over 10 years of experience behind the decks. Her smooth, dancefloor-oriented mixing style and production skills have allowed her to play everywhere from local weekly residencies to all over the U.S., Canada and Europe. In 2003, she received her certification in Audio Engineering from SAE in New York. From there, she started getting serious about production. Bexxie has had a number of releases on Dysfunktional Audio as well as on the infamous Kniteforce Records. Her vocal talents have also been featured on many of those releases.
Her tracks have had support from top drum and bass DJ’s like Wax (from CLS & Wax), Aquasky, the Panacea, and Shortee to name a few. Her latest track “Six Months” has been featured on the award-winning Hospital Records podcast hosted by London Elektricity.
Bexxie will continue to DJ and produce dancefloor-smashing drum and bass while also releasing up-and-coming producers from around the globe on Dysfunktional Audio. You can also find Bexxie on myspace.com/bexxiemusic and soundcloud.com/bexxie
